About countless stone steps, with singing bird, past cactus, banana shrubs, mandarin trees, bamboo grove and Rhododendron trees, you will today ascent 1,795 meters to Ghorepani. A quite strenuous stage, which again requires a lot of force. In the afternoon you reach “the blue village” Ghorepani, which is built on a pass.

Ascent: approx 1795 Hm; Descent approx 125 Hm, 25 km
Overnight in Lodge. (B / L / D)

Day 17: 13th stage: Ghorepani (2860 m) – Poon Hill (3210m) – Nayapul (1,070 m), 24 km – drive to Pokhara (about 2 hours)

Ghorepani bears his name “Ghore” (horse) and “Pani” (water) due to the fact that there is a passage route of many mule caravans which formerly led up to the pass where horses used the water holes. Today the now very touristic place unfortunately reflects very little of that atmosphere. The site today is characterized by large lodges, made of blue sheets and some souvenir shops. From here you can climb the mountain viewpoint Poonhill. You will get a fantastic view of the Dhaulagiri- and the Annapurna again. From now on you run downhill.
It goes steadily downhill through dense forests. This trail is again fun, but be careful, you are not yet at the finish and on the many steps you can slip and fall quickly. Enjoy the last downhill running kilometers before finally arriving in Nayapul, the last place of our trail running tour. We celebrate the goal with a cool drink before boarding our minibus to Pokhara, where you can celebrate the success of the mastered Trail Run in one of the many pubs and bars.
Ascent: approx m; approx m descent, 25 km
Overnight at Hotel. (B / L / D)
