This is a nice run. Rice padi, mud, water, green, nature, people. No blacktop, just browntop and muddy trails with a few hills and good varied terrain. Previously this run (to Tokha at least) was begun from Rani Bari but now with road building, the first stretch is unpleasant and hard underfoot all the way. That was 13km. This is a mere 8 or so but so much nicer than on the roads.

Is this an organised run? Does it inkludr a ride from Kathmandu?
thehalfhog says:
Hi Ingrid – it's what I did this morning, and most mornings when I go running. Organised by me alone, and just for fun and fitness. Are you a runner?
Ingrid says:
I like running. Does that make me a runner :)? I am looking for good tracks. I wondered if this was an organised or group activity. Just found this webpage
thehalfhog says:
Not organised – but sure you can find some others to go running with through our Facebook page, or on Saturdays at the Hash – see link to the right.
There are quite a few people who I imagine will be training now for the Shivapuri Vertical Kilometre race. Send me an email through the contact form if you want more info.
Ester says:
Hi Ingrid, I would be interested to go running with you. why don't you drop me a line…spruitje@live.com
Raina says:
Hi Ester, I'm interested too! email me at raina.bayas(a)gmail
Terry says:
I am probably missing the obvious but when is this (pleasant looking!) run, where do runners meet etc.? Basic logistics ..
thehalfhog says:
Hi Terry – it is whenever you feel like it. It's not organised, no runners meet – just what I happened to run the other morning and post onto Google maps. People complain about having no where to run, I thought I would post where I often run.
Raina says:
Terry, why don't you join us – a couple of girls!? Group run is more fun…
Lena says:
Is anyone still doing this run? I'd love to join you while I am in Nepal for the next few weeks…
Lena
