A goosebumpy production from the Vibram HK100 race back in January (2014). Lloyd Belcher and team did a fantastic job to be in many places at once over the sprawling course. He captures the essences of this iconic Hong Kong race and the feelings of some of the elite runners who took on the race. It was unfortunate that we could not arrange to get the voices of Tirtha and Bed on their. On return to Nepal they headed off to their villages for a month and missed the edit deadline. Next time.

The Vibram® HK100 is an iconic ultra endurance race that takes place in Hong Kong and is the first race in the inaugural Ultra-Trail World Tour 2014, which includes prestigious ultra events around the world. The 100km course covers some of the most beautiful scenery in Hong Kong, including remote and unspoilt beaches, ancient forests, nature trails, reservoirs & steep hills.
‘More Than A Race’ aims to not only capture the runner’s journeys across scenic trails but offer insights, the ethos of the race and it’s connection with local Hong Kong charities.
