Great Himalayan Race 2017 (April-May 2017) The only edition of the Great Himalayan Race will take place in April and May 2017. GHR will borrow the paths of GHT (Great Himalayan Trail) and cross the Nepalese Himalayas from east to west. The first half of the course will be identical to the Himal Race 2016 and therefore leave the Khang La on the eastern border of Nepal and Sikkim, to the region of Helambu. Then the GHR continue its journey to the Langtang, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, Annapurna, Mustang, Dolpo, Humla Valley, Simi Valley and finished at Hilsa, a village on the west border between Nepal and Tibet. It will be possible to make the Great Himalayan Race solo or team (duo or trio), in an Open Format (Free run) with assistance every 5-7 days. Organised by the French running collective www.leschevaliersduvent.fr
