A short trail running introductory race being held in Kathmandu on 21st April aka World Earth Day! The setting is great, the Nagarjun National Park and the race goes to the summit.
The race starts at the park entrance and heads about 5km along a jeep track, before climbing steeply up a thin trail to the summit. There you can pay your respects at the gompa (monastery) before heading back down the main trail to the gate once again. Short and sweet.
