Voilà, the start of the Annapurna Mandala Trail race 2011 at Annapurna basecamp around 4,000 m above sea level.
We’ll post results in due course, but we can reveal that the winner, after 8 gruelling stages, was Sudip Rai. The course was changed this year, as Tilicho was closed by unseasonal snowfall, so the runners returned over the Thorung La.
